A Diverse Practice

As an artist I identify more with the realm of problem solving than a particular genre or medium. The act of making as a form of thought is a way of generating ideas. I have always felt that forcing or generating ideas through a particular discipline limits what an artist can realize. The mind can come to understand the world through drawing, building with physical materials, illusion, a 30 second video, sanding the hull of a boat, kneading clay and so on. You can read my artist statement here.
