Fascinator

Primped and Pumped

Up

Heightening

Twigs and sprigs of sparse

Findings:

Unwound tendrils

Erect as can be

The prettiness of her

Knickers and Pale Softness

Guarded by her spikey coif

Something is aroused-

Awkwardly enslaved

To the latest fashion

Card Information

This piece belongs to the Anomalies collection as noted by the orange text. In the initial run of 4000 cards, there were 200 of this card made.

The poem on this card was written by Terri Lambrix.
There were 5 signed versions of this card in random packs as well.

The card front represented in this image above is not entirely accurate. The physical card has better cropping and does not cut off her feet or her fascinator. I had to digitally recreate these cards to give the illusion of space behind them. The actual cards are more carefully made.

This page is primarily accessible through the QR code on the card you collected. My intention for each of these pages is to journal or chronicle the events and details around this particular sculpture. In a sense, the card functions as a key to unlocking the life or narrative around this piece. If the piece is sold or collected, shown in a new venue, damaged or destroyed, or if I begin to develop other narratives around this work, I would detail those things here. When these updates occur, I will post about them in my newsletter or you can check back occasionally for updates and information.
